The prosthesis 

All components and tools are produced by Ossur and are tested according ISO 10328 standards.  A below knee prosthesis is made in four steps from eight components and resin.

The tools

All components and tools fit into a regular travelling bag.  A hydrostatic balloon is used for casting the hard socket directly on the stump.  The balloon is hand powered, as is the resin pump.  The saw used for trimming the hard socket can be charged through a car battery.
